Does not work

I put the strap on my leather purse strap as instructed and it has not helped at all with slippage. Does something peel off on the logo side of the strap to give a better grip. As it is - the logo side which faces out is slick and smooth. This was a waste of my money. I did send you an email last week explaining this result and received no reply.
